This policy covers our closed beta website and app. As Drop grows, we'll update it and notify you of material changes.

This Privacy Policy explains how Drop Technologies, Inc. ("Drop," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, join our waitlist, or use the Drop app (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Information you give us: name, email, phone number, and city when you join the waitlist or create an account; profile details; ratings and messages.
Ride information: pickup and drop-off locations, fares you offer, and trip history when you use the app.
Location data: with your permission, we use device location to show nearby drivers, enable pickups, and support navigation and safety.
Device & usage data: device type, app version, IP address, and how you interact with the Service.

2. How we use information

To operate the marketplace — match riders and drivers and enable the name-your-price flow.
To communicate with you about your account, rides, waitlist, and updates.
To improve and secure the Service, and to support safety and fraud prevention.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

Between riders and drivers: to complete a ride, we share the details each side needs (e.g., name, rating, vehicle, pickup).
Service providers: vendors who help us run the Service (e.g., hosting, communications), under confidentiality obligations.
Legal & safety: when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

We do not sell your personal information. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to improve the Service and develop technology, but it is not sold.

4. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account information (see Section 6).

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices & rights

You may access, update, or request deletion of your information by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example, California residents under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. 7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes

We'll post any updates here with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
